Buffy is a dark bown girl with black points. She has great conformation, heavy bone, and good size. Her fleece is soft with a well defined crimp. At 6 years of age, her fleece is holding in the 25 micron range with a low standard deviation and an absence of guard hair.
She is a Black Magic grand daughter (through her dam) and is sired by Dom Savone, a fine fleeced Timbo son. The Chilean part of her ancestry boasts "The Silversmith". Having Buffy on the farm is the reason we later ... |

Buffalo Creed is a tall, heavy-boned true black male. He has always had extremely fine fleece in a merino style of low amplitude and high frequency in small bundles. He sheared 7.2 pounds of 17.4 micron fleece at 2 years old. Due to his fineness, I overlooked his density and put other males on the show string. When an AOBA judge saw Creed at a non-show event, they pointed out his density, uniformity, brightness and handle and admonished me for not showing him as a youngster. So - as a 3 1/2 year-old he entered his first shows - one blue ribbon and one second place!
We will be using him this year on a few of our higher-micron dams. To get more breedings under his belt, we are offering a special on his first 3 outside breedings - call or email us for information and availability.
We own one of Creed's grandsires, Dom Savone, so his use here will be limited. Given Creed's lingering fineness, we won't part with all of him but will offer part ownership or generous leasing terms.
