Monet has a beautiful phenotype with solid bone, full coverage, beautiful head and nice bite. Her sire is our champion Don Raul, who passed along his great head, tight zipper crimp and bone structure. Monet's dam is our 17-year-old Picassa, and we were tempted to keep Monet to replace her as a foundation female. But, two of Picassa's other offspring are on our herdsire row - multi-champion Bayhawk and blue-ribbon-winning Ulysses. For the next generation, we'd try to add fineness and even more density - two perfect breedings would be Xandor and Buffalo Creed.
